Assemblies and libraries

A Nylon project is a folder with a build file at its top and your code under src/. Building it makes an assembly: a program to run, or a library for other projects to use.

  • Project structure: the folders and files New Project makes, and where your code goes.
  • Build files: build.markup.code, which says what the project builds and what it depends on.
  • Assemblies: what a build makes, and where it puts it.
  • Libraries: adding one, and what it brings with it.
  • Resource files: files a program ships beside its code, and how it reads them.
